The Mysteries of Bismillah

The Fourteenth Flash – Part II

THE SECOND CHAPTER OF THE FOURTEENTH FLASH

It deals with six of the thousands of mysteries contained in Bismillāhir-Rahmānir-Rahīm.

In this Chapter, several mysteries will be set forth.

The First Mystery

I perceived one manifestation of Bismillāhir-Rahmānir-Rahīm as follows:

The face of the cosmos, the face of the earth, and the face of the human being each bear a seal of Divine Lordship. These three seals are interwoven with one another, and each bears an imprint of the other two.

The first is the Great Seal of Divinity, which becomes visible in the mutual cooperation, support, harmony, and correspondence manifested throughout creation as a whole, and to which Bismillāh refers.

The second is the Great Seal of Divine Mercy, which becomes visible on the face of the earth in the mutual resemblance, harmony, order, coherence, grace, and mercy found in the ordering, nurturing, care, and governance of plants and animals, and to which Bismillāhir-Rahmān refers.

The third is the Exalted Seal of Divine Compassion, which becomes visible on the face of the human being’s comprehensive nature in the subtleties of tenderness, the refinements of compassion, and the rays of Divine mercy, and to which ar-Rahīm in Bismillāhir-Rahmānir-Rahīm refers.

Thus, Bismillāhir-Rahmānir-Rahīm is the sacred indication of these three seals of Divine Oneness, and also the strong bond and radiant line that unites them—seals inscribed like a luminous line upon the page of the universe. In other words, Bismillāhir-Rahmānir-Rahīm descends from above, and its end reaches the human being, the fruit of creation and the condensed miniature of the world. It links the earth to the Throne and becomes a path by which the human being may ascend to the throne of human perfection, the highest spiritual station of the human being.

The Second Mystery

Since the manifestation of wāhidiyyah becomes visible within the infinite multiplicity of creation, the Miraculous Qur’an continually shows the manifestation of ahadiyyah within that manifestation of wāhidiyyah, so that the mind does not drown in that overwhelming multiplicity.
