Eleven Glad Tidings For Humanity

The Eleventh Phrase

وَ اِلَيْهِ الْمَصٖيرُ

In other words, human beings, who have been sent to this world—the abode of trial—for trade and duties concerning the Hereafter, with important responsibilities, will return to their Glorious Creator and meet their Generous Lord after they have conducted their trade, fulfilled their duties, and completed their services. That is, they will leave this transient abode and, in an everlasting abode, be honored with the presence of His Majesty. They will be freed from the confusion of causes and the darkening veils of intermediaries, and will meet their Merciful Lord, without veils, in the center of His eternal sovereignty. Each of them will directly know and realize who his Creator, Lord, Master, and Owner is. This phrase proclaims, above all glad tidings, the following glad tiding:

“O human being! Do you know where you are going and where you are being led? As mentioned at the end of The Thirty-Second Word, you are going to the presence and mercy of Jamīl-i Dhul-Jalāl, for Whom one single hour of beholding His beauty is worth more than a thousand years of life in Paradise, while one single hour of life in Paradise is worth more than a thousand years of happy life on earth. You are going to the presence of Mabūd-i Lam Yazal and Mahbūb-i La Yazāl. The beauties of worldly beloveds and of all earthly existence to which you are attached, with which you are infatuated, and for which you passionately long, are only shadows of the manifestations of His beauty and of His beautiful Names. The whole of Paradise with all its beauties is a manifestation of His mercy. All expressions of passion, love, and affection are flashes of His love. And you are invited to Paradise, where you will enjoy eternal delight. Therefore, you should enter the gate of the grave not weeping, but cheerfully and joyfully.”

Moreover, this phrase proclaims the following glad tiding:

“O people! Do not think that you are going toward decay, non-existence, darkness, forgetfulness, corruption, and dissolution. You are not going into transience, but toward eternity. You will not fall into non-existence, but will be led to everlasting existence. You will not enter darkness, but the luminous world. You are on your way to your true Owner. And you are returning to the capital of Sultān-i Azalī. You will be freed from the influence of causes and will directly see that everything comes from Him. You are not destined for separation, but for reunion.”
