The Seventh Word

اَللّٰهُمَّ نَوِّرْ قُلُوبَنَا بِنُورِ الْاٖيمَانِ وَ الْقُرْاٰنِ اَللّٰهُمَّ اَغْنِنَا بِالْاِفْتِقَارِ اِلَيْكَ وَ لَا تُفْقِرْنَا بِالْاِسْتِغْنَاءِ عَنْكَ تَبَرَّاْنَا اِلَيْكَ مِنْ حَوْلِنَا وَ قُوَّتِنَا وَ الْتَجَئْنَا اِلٰى حَوْلِكَ وَ قُوَّتِكَ فَاجْعَلْنَا مِنَ الْمُتَوَكِّلٖينَ عَلَيْكَ وَ لَاتَكِلْنَا اِلٰى اَنْفُسِنَا وَاحْفَظْنَا بِحِفْظِكَ وَارْحَمْنَا وَ ارْحَمِ الْمُؤْمِنٖينَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَ صَلِّ وَ سَلِّمْ عَلٰى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَ نَبِيِّكَ وَ صَفِيِّكَ وَ خَلٖيلِكَ وَ جَمَالِ مُلْكِكَ وَ مَلٖيكِ صُنْعِكَ وَ عَيْنِ عِنَايَتِكَ وَ شَمْسِ هِدَايَتِكَ وَ لِسَانِ حُجَّتِكَ وَ مِثَالِ رَحْمَتِكَ وَ نُورِ خَلْقِكَ وَ شَرَفِ مَوْجُودَاتِكَ وَ سِرَاجِ وَحْدَتِكَ فٖى كَثْرَةِ مَخْلُوقَاتِكَ وَ كَاشِفِ طِلْسِمِ كَائِنَاتِكَ وَ دَلَّالِ سَلْطَنَةِ رُبُوبِيَّتِكَ وَ مُبَلِّغِ مَرْضِيَّاتِكَ وَ مُعَرِّفِ كُنُوزِ اَسْمَائِكَ وَ مُعَلِّمِ عِبَادِكَ وَ تَرْجُمَانِ اٰيَاتِكَ وَمِرْاٰتِ جَمَالِ رُبُوبِيَّتِكَ وَ مَدَارِ شُهُودِكَ وَ اِشْهَادِكَ وَ حَبٖيبِكَ وَ رَسُولِكَ الَّذٖى اَرْسَلْتَهُ رَحْمَةً لِلْعَالَمٖينَ وَ عَلٰى اٰلِهٖ وَ صَحْبِهٖ اَجْمَعٖينَ وَ عَلٰى اِخْوَانِهٖ مِنَ النَّبِيّٖينَ وَ الْمُرْسَلٖينَ وَ عَلٰى مَلٰئِكَتِكَ الْمُقَرَّبٖينَ وَ عَلٰى عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحٖينَ اٰمٖينَ“O Allah! Illuminate our hearts with the light of faith and the Qur’an. O Allah! Enrich us through our awareness of our need for You, and do not impoverish us through forgetfulness of our need for You. We renounce our own strength and power and take refuge in Yours. Make us among those who place their trust in You, and do not leave us to ourselves. Protect us with Your protection. Have mercy upon us and upon all believing men and women. And send Your peace and blessings upon our master Muhammad—Your servant, Your prophet, Your chosen one, Your beloved friend, the beauty of Your creation, the sovereign of Your artistry, the source of Your favour, the sun of Your guidance, the herald of Your proof, the exemplar of Your mercy, the light of Your creation, the honour of existence, the radiant lamp of Your unity amidst the multiplicity of Your creatures, the revealer of the mystery of creation, the announcer of Your sovereignty, the conveyer of that which pleases You, the proclaimer of the treasures of Your Names, the teacher of Your servants, the interpreter of Your signs, the mirror of the beauty of Your Lordship, the means of witnessing You and bearing witness to You, Your beloved Messenger whom You sent as a mercy to all the worlds—and upon all his family, companions, brothers among the prophets and messengers, Your noble angels, and Your righteous servants. Āmīn.”
