Tenderness Towards Parents

Among my brothers there was a man named Mustafa Çavuş. I observed that he was remarkably successful both in his worldly affairs and in his religious life. At first I did not know the secret behind this. Later, however, I understood that his success stemmed from the fact that he fully understood and honoured the rights of his elderly father and mother. Through them he attained comfort, blessings, and ease in his life. InshāAllāhIf Allah wills”; an expression used when speaking about a future event and expressing the hope that it will occur by the will of Allah., he also secured success in the Hereafter. Whoever desires true happiness should strive to resemble him.

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ عَلٰى مَنْ قَالَ «اَلْجَنَّةُ تَحْتَ اَقْدَامِ الْاُمَّهَاتِ» وَ عَلٰى اٰلِهٖ وَصَحْبِهٖ اَجْمَعٖينَO Allah, send Your blessings and peace upon the one who said, ‘Paradise lies beneath the feet of mothers,’ and upon all his family and companions.

سُبْحَانَكَ لَا عِلْمَ لَنَٓا اِلَّا مَا عَلَّمْتَنَٓا اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ الْعَلٖيمُ الْحَكٖيمُGlory be to You. We have no knowledge except what You have taught us. Indeed, You are the All-Knowing, the All-Wise. – The Koran 2:32
